Ann Yerger has served as executive director of the Council of Institutional Investors since 2005. She joined the Council in 1996 as director of the research service. Previously, Yerger was deputy director of the Investor Responsibility Research Center’s corporate governance service. Prior to that, she spent five years in the domestic corporate banking division of Wachovia Bank.
Yerger is a member of the Investor Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the Investor Advisory Committee of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council. She also serves on the board of directors of the National Institute on Retirement Security.
