Investors' Working Group
CII and the CFA Institute launched the Investors’ Working Group (IWG) in February 2009 to provide an investor perspective on ways to improve the regulation of U.S. financial markets. The IWG, an independent, non-partisan panel of experts, worked collaboratively to seek agreement on the recommendations and in July 2009 published a report, "U.S. Financial Regulatory Reform: The Investors' Perspective." The report reflects the consensus views of the group on myriad reforms, though not all IWG members agreed with every recommendation in the report.
