ExxonMobil Commits to Pursuing Lawsuit Despite Withdrawal of Proposal, CII, ICCR Urge Company to Reconsider
ExxonMobil’s stated intention to pursue legal action against Follow This and Arjuna Capital even after the two proponents withdrew their greenhouse gas proposal prompted CII to issue a statement and the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) to send a letter to the energy company’s board urging it to prevail upon management to abandon the lawsuit.
