Delaware Court Dismisses Suit Against Meta Claiming Breach of Fiduciary Duties to Diversified Shareholders
The Delaware Chancery Court dismissed a lawsuit filed by James McRitchie, shareholder activist and publisher of CorpGov.net, against the board and management of Meta (Facebook’s parent), alleging that they breached their fiduciary duties by ignoring the impact of the company’s operations on the diversified portfolios of its shareholders.
