GOP Attorneys General Refute Treasury Official’s Claim that Bank Laws Threaten National Security
A group of GOP attorneys general fired back at Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen for a July 18 letter from Treasury Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian Nelson in which he expressed concern that Florida HB 989 and similar state laws discouraging banks from considering non-quantitative factors when selecting customers may interfere with financial institutions’ ability to comply with national security requirements.
Battle Over Musk’s $56 Billion Pay Package Continues in Delaware Court
Lawyers representing Elon Musk argued August 2 that Delaware Chancery Court Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick should reverse her decision striking down Musk’s $56 billion pay package in light of a June vote in which a majority of Tesla shareholders supported the compensation.
